Ich hab meine Beute auch mit Leinölfirnis bestrichen (nur außen), aber irgendwie war das Holz so saugfährig, dass es nun auch auf der Innenseite zur Hälfte mit dem Leinöl voll ist.

Wisst ihr, ob dies den Bienen was ausmacht (gesundheitlich, schlechteres Bauen oder Meiden der öligen Flächen)?

Sprich diese bunten Beutenmarkierungsdinger die man kaufen kann (Stern, Rechteck etc.) sind eher durch ihre formliche Gestaltung praktisch als durch ihren farblichen Anstrich. daher sollte man wohl auch schauen das die Umgebung der Beute (Beschwerungssteine der Deckel etc) immer auf den gleichen Beuten liegen weil hieran sich die Bienen wohl orientrieren. Der Farbliche Anstrich der Beute ist wohl eher zum Wohle des Imkers. Aber ob das nun stimmt oder nicht weis ich auch nicht da meine Damen eher selten mit mir darüber sprechen :lol:

Für den Schutz der Beute vor Wettereinflüssen soll anscheinend ein Anstrich mit Leinölfirnis ausreichen. Ich werde halt die Zargen nach der Wabenhygiene (nach drei Jahren draußen) nochmals Streichen. Ob das aber was auf langer Sicht bringt weis ich nicht, aber schaden wird es sicherlich nicht.

Ich weiss, dass das Thema Teil unseres Imkerkurses sein wird, aber der geht hier in der Schweiz ja über 2 Jahre ;)

wollte mal fragen was ihr so für eine Farbe/Holzlasur benutzt für euere Holzbeuten ? Ich finde die Farben im Imkerfachladen
einfach zuteuer, und war deshalb am WE im Baushaus :idea: dachte da bekomme ich sie billiger aber ich wuste da nicht mehr was ich kaufen soll . BlauerEngel,Spielzeug,Speichelfest usw die Farbe ist für meinen Sohn dem ich eine Beute im Zandermaß bauen will der ist so heiß auf die Bienen das er ein eigenes Volk haben mag natürlich erst im neuem Jahr ,aber die Beute soll Rot/Gelb sein ist sein Wunsch

Hat wer einen Tip ? was man kaufen kann ?
